Free entry on 23 May to celebrate World Football Week
The FIFA Museum is running an open day, with free admission to all areas, on Friday, 23 May 2025 to celebrate the inaugural World Football Week. This year’s theme is ‘Together, We Are Stronger’. We encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and discover the home of football heritage and culture while creating an extra magical atmosphere. Registration is not required: you can just show up during our usual opening hours of 10:00-18:00 and enjoy!
Besides the treasures from our permanent collection, such as the FIFA World Cup™ and FIFA Women’s World Cup™ trophies, visitors will be able to experience “Football Fever. Play. Compete. Repeat”. This immersive space explores the links between football and pop culture through exhibits and interactive stations. Highlights include a Captain Tsubasa tribute and the extraordinary skills.lab Cube, where you can put your ball control, reactions and other abilities to the test.
This open day is part of the inaugural World Football Week, an annual FIFA initiative centred on the sport’s power to foster joy and unity. This fits perfectly with the FIFA Museum’s mission of celebrating football’s rich heritage and showing how the game continues to connect and inspire the world. World Football Week will run from 21 May – the day when FIFA was founded in 1904 – to 25 May, which the United Nations approved as UN World Football Day last year.
