History of women’s football
CHF 95 per group
Incl. admission
90 minutes
Suitable for secondary school children
Take a deep dive into women’s football. Women’s football has come a long way, from its beginnings in the 19th century to the Women’s World Cup in its current form. Just as the image and role of women in society have changed over the last 100 years, so too have the presence and acceptance of the women’s game in the world of football[SH(1] . Corsets are out and sports bras are in! Come with us on a journey of discovery with pioneers and women’s world champions!
Pupils get an insight into the history and development of women’s football in this interactive workshop. Issues related to women’s emancipation then and now are presented and pupils are given the opportunity to approach the topic analytically and link it to society today.
Galaxy of Footballs
CHF 95 per group
Incl. admission
90 minutes
Suitable for 3rd to 6th graders
Doesn’t everyone own a ball? Even though football is played in every corner of the world, not everyone can afford to buy their own ball. But where there’s a will, there’s a way! We’ll take you on a tour of balls from around the world. They are made out of all sorts: fabric, plastic bags and even banana leaves!
We’ll show you balls from times gone by and tell you about their history and how they have changed before you unleash your creativity and make your own ball. Once each group have made their own ball, we’ll put them and ourselves to the test with fun-filled games.
