Offerings
Ahead of your class’s museum visit, here are some suggestions on the educational options available to you at the FIFA Museum.
We are an excellent alternative for school trips, and we welcome classes that either want to escape the normal confines of the classroom or that you would like to reward at the end of a hard semester.
But that is not all that we offer. Every visit can be combined with an educational experience. Here are five options for you to consider:
1. Guided tours
Take a different tack for your visit and discover the museum as a class via a specific theme that is relevant to your curriculum and society in general. The tours are led by our facilitators and combine fascinating stories with an interactive experience.
Target group: 4th to 9th grades, vocational schools, universities
Length: 90 minutes
2. Workshops
Our workshops go into greater detail and focus on specific areas by selecting a theme and applying it in practice. They are held either before or after a visit and are directly linked to the content of the visit. They are led by our facilitators and take place at our The Lab space.
Target group: 4th to 9th grades
Length: 90 minutes
3. Self-led visits
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to rediscover football history as a group. Our self-led visits allow you and your class – armed with an audio guide and workbook – to take a deeper dive into the exhibition while giving you the freedom to go at your own pace and choose your itinerary.
Target group: 1st to 9th grades, vocational schools, universities
Length: at least two hours
4. Spotlight on a topic
Are you teaching a football-related topic or is your project week devoted to the beautiful game, its history or its influence on society? Do you want to use football as a springboard to discuss social questions with your class? We would be delighted to assist and always like to hear ideas and suggestions that would make your visit as educational and relevant as possible.
